Considering the kicker’s fist is inches above the ball as he kicked it, how would he have ever made it anyway? How can he possibly get anything on the ball hunched over like that?
Three components make for a successful kick. Snap, hold and kick. Looks like Brody is an old school, straight on kicker which can be an advantage is these conditions. The Jeff player breaking through, broke into the Watusi.
In college, a blocked PAT can be returned to the end zone by the opposition for two points. That’s the only way we (Lamar) got our points in a loss at Hawaii last season!
I think you did subject our comments to the same intense scrutiny we give this strip, at least at first. But I haven’t seen that lately, and I hope everyone will lighten up on you.

Not even a double EFS is enough to blast that kick through the uprights. I bet the Jefferson player blocks it and takes it TO THE HOUSE!

Gee, I bet if John Pascoe had been playing on the right side of the line this would never have happened.

They didn’t try for 2? There must be a joke here about not being able to find your Trojans at the critical moment.

Only in college can you return PATs and that is only for one point—or maybe two I forget.

Surely they would have gone for two points! Is Gil that big a weenie?

Hmmm, lots of mud on the shoes, but none on the uniforms. Tricky field the old Mudlarks are playing on this week.

As low on the ball as Brody struck it in P2, it’s not going to be good no matter what. He must have slipped in the mud.

In all reality, I sense some heroics from Big John will happen soon.

@JPuzzleWhiz No. Thanks for playing. And for the love of humanity, please don’t ever think again. Clearly, it’s not working for you.

1) What makes you think I’m not serious about my posts?2) Define tongue-in-cheek for us. I’m not sure you know what it means.
