It’s been years since our mop hero made an appearance in the strip. They could at least show him on the bench at basketball games.

In all reality , who except for Gil didn’t know this scenario would be taking place ? Do I hear "Stand By Your Man " playing ?

EES is rampant in the hallways. A raging, screaming Mimi cares about her man. If only she had that same passion for Keri, Jami and Toto.

It’s also nice to know they make a ladies version of that wide-band watch/GPS thing that all the locals in Milford like to strap to their forearms.

And I’m not sure what that Gil and Herc wrestling match brought in a couple of years back, but I’m guessing the gate on a Mimi/Holly Smack-down could fund a new bus for those widely traveling Milford sports teams.

I bet that boxing/wrasslin’ ring is still around waiting for the next ahem, charity match. Marquis of Quennsbury or ECW rules Gilfanatics with impartial referee Coach Drool and personal valets Alan “Disco” Mayne and Beau Dandy.

Yeah, I predicted it! One of my 6 possible predictions came true, I’m a genius! So tomorrow, will we find out they showed Gil telling his team they couldn’t win? Or did they do something else to him? And speaking of something else, today’s Mopped Up Thorp is something else. Hopefully it will “crack” you up.

You know, if all the teachers at Milford High threatened a walkout unless this farce is ended, I’ll bet Holly Dobbs and Disco Stu would be back on the D List in Hollywood tout suite. Or maybe not.

Maybe the rest of the faculty, besides Gil and Mimi, are actually enjoying this. Shudder.
