Guys, I did the math. Keri last complained about being ghosted on Dec. 23. So that’s a 27-day arc interval. By my calculation, we will return to this storyline on Valentine’s Day.

Maybe his leg or arm or whatever he broke still hurts. It was so long ago I forget what he injured. Too lazy to look back. I do believe it was before Misdirection. So, the last chapter.

I’m not sure what game he blew. ToBe’s not referring to the baseball game, is he? He’s not embarrassed about that. And speaking of embarrassed, poor Keri is obviously embarrassed about having Jami for a brother in today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

This strip sucks now in too many ways,…I’m going back to vintage Thorp.

I got to agree with @TSR1964, there’s too much going on in the strip, and I decided to follow it again on January 1st. That’s a huge problem that Barajas is still trying to deal with.

I keep mentioning here (and on CK) that a good strip to follow that is a soap opera is Rex Morgan M.D. and Mary Worth: while all the other strips open many and multiple plots about a lot of different stuffs, these two develop one story at a time. Now, of course, you may not like the storyline, but, at least, it’s concise, it has a beginning, a middle and an end, without too many stuff going on besides the main focus.

Maybe that’s what Gil Thorp needs. One story at a time.
