My problem isn’t finding the remote….it’s figuring out WHICH (of 5 remotes) is the right one! (And that’s the one that seems to walk away from the coffee table).
I used to sell TVs at a large retail chain whose name rhymes with “sneers”. My department manager showed me how to apply Velcro tape to the remote and the side of the TV. It worked!

Thats nothing most of the tvs I owned as a child had to be turned with a pair of pliers.

Around here one has to have the remote just to turn the TV on. Some days it is a hunt.
