When my chihuahua got stung on the nose by a bee, she looked so miserable, her muzzle was so inflammed. She slept for an hour and then it was like nothing ever happenned.
Well, I have had dogs for 50 years and I live in the country.
So, I have been through all of those plus a few extras, like chasing a gopher and getting stuck halfway in/out of it’s f*#$ing hole between rocks in the wall.
We had to dismantle half of the rock wall to get him out (rolling my eyes)
I walk my dog for miles every day, and I have never had any of these problems. I think a 5-foot lead helps a lot. This morning she kept hanging around one spot and not wanting to move. I found 3 bones, very sharp, maybe ribs from a bird, just waiting for her to try to kill herself with them. I tossed one towards the house, stuck the other two in my pocket. She finally moved on but gave me a definite “look.” They really looked like sticks from a tree or something until she was aiming for them. Sharp as sewing needles.

My dogs think that toads are just.. gourmet…until they find themselves foaming at the mouth and drooling for an hour or so…

Was Maria hanging out with Doug Savage (Savage Chickens) prior to coming up with this one?

Old Dog joke:
Man to Agent: I have a talking dog here.
Agent: Yeah, right. So show me.
Man to dog: How does sandpaper feel?
Dog: Ruff.
Man to dog: What’s on top of the house?
Dog: Roof.
Man to dog: Who was one of the baseball greats?
Dog: Ruth.
Agent: Ok, ok. Have a nice day; don’t call us; we’ll call you.
Dog: (now outside): Who was I supposed to say, Peewee Reese?
