The construction of this joke could use some work. Right now, it’s just Heart ignoring Charlotte’s advice for no reason. Maybe if the guy with the sign told Heart, “You could earn some nice jewelry” or something after Charlotte’s warning, it would land better.
As the party leave town to start their quest they bump into three asthmatic orcs. One orc holds their inhalers and the other two kill Hearts lame noob party. As the “adventure” ends one of the orc (and not even the smartest orc) asks “who would be so dumb to go on an adventure without a couple of fighters and a experienced magic user”?

Without an elvish warrior a, dwarf, and a mage their quest is doomed.

They should ease Heart into D&D with something easy… I’d suggest the Tomb of Horrors.

If the DM doesn’t want the players following a “dangerous job” plot line then he shouldn’t have introduced it.
