Nice. We all have/get gifts we try to ignore or hide away. In the closet, under the bed, deep in our heads/minds.

This may be apocryphal, but it reminds me of the one about the man whose mother-in-law bought a popular horror novel and was so spooked that she threw it in the river, not even wanting the book to sit in the trash bin until collection day. So he bought another copy and soaked it in a bucket, then put it in her nightstand. You can imagine the reaction.

To paraphrase Admiral Ackbar’s famous line “It’s a metaphor/allegory!”

Seems pretty weird to see a Sunday comic in B&W. Maybe the inker is on vacation.
