My family’s favorite line; “Why do you go to school so much? Are dumb or something?”

At least he didn’t say : “Ok , boomer?”

In the current situation, parents are getting a serious education about education. What and how they were taught vs contemporary ed. Reality strikes, eyes shocked open, brains fizzing. Could be a good thing.

We are all blessed with assorted gifts, some just may not be mental, moral, monetary, medical, ethical, or even sanity-based — but at least I have my good looks.

My teachers were always telling me: “You can do much better.” My response was: “If you already know I can do it, what do I have left to prove?”

Where’s the book upside that very disrespectful kid’s head??

Both my stepsons were over to our house last night and we were talking about their kids attending school online for the past few months.

“I don’t know about them,” quipped one of the dads, “But I’m sure learning a lot!”

Must be a pop-up story book.

Thank God, I don’t have to “help” with anyone’s homework anymore.

In ca. 1920 my uncle won a scholarship to attend university. My grandparent forbade him going because they couldn’t see any advantage in having a university degree… :o(
