He has a shell instead of a back.

Must be his big gut that he hears gurgling.

When the Going Gets Tough….

Oh, now I can hear the “Ocean”, too

Yeah, Brandy used to watch his eyes when he told his sailor’s story, she could feel the ocean fall and rise, she saw its ragin’ glory

He has salt water in his veins, an old saying about men who risked their lives in wooden ships.

“The Northern Pacific, if I’m not mistaken.”

Put it to his head and you will hear an echo.

I’ve been out to sea much too long, methinks!

Must be a submariner.

Fell overboard once too often.

Mine sounds more like the start of an avalanche or rock slide about an hour before supper.
