Marcy, you’ve done your part. Dana has the information, it’s up to her what she does with it. But don’t be surprised if she does nothing.

When Dana (Worthington) first appeared, I did not like her. Her introduction seemed too contrived; I mean, seriously, Ray just falls for a sassy homeless woman he meets once and his folks fly her out to LA to be with him? Then, as she appeared more-and-more, I grew to like her. Sure, her situation was contrived but there was real depth to her.

Now, I’ve gone full circle: I don’t like her anymore. There’s depth but not much. She seems to be a poor little rich girl who has somehow managed to win Ray over (I still don’t get why he would fall for a woman he barely knows, much less help her get settled in LA). Worse, she more annoying than Ray’s previous girlfriend.

Dana, I am a Cardiac Nurse. Your mother is 86 and I’ve seen her test results, she is not faking. So, if you want to see your mother again while she is still alive, you will get on the Cessna and fly back with us. The choice is yours.

Guess who the Mother will blame if Dana comes back with a “go to %$#@” answer from her daughter?

how many times has that old lady cried wolf that her daughter would doubt it when her doctor tells her she’s literally dying?

Irony – leaving a job she doesn’t need…and almost any job would let you leave for a family emergency.
