Watch out if anyone calls you slick and asks you to run something across the street right quick. Otherwise, a jury of your peers may find you guilty and you will get 10 years.
A family in our church is from Tanzania, and judging from the pictures Clara shows us, I wouldn’t have expected skyscrapers, either. Of course, the photos they have are of their home village, but . . .
Maybe they’ll run into the guide that Joe and Marcy had when they went to Africa. Although, I don’t remember if they went to Tanzania or another country.
Tanzania: skyscrapers and poor people living in grass huts. The United States: skyscrapers and poor people living in cardboard boxes. it’s a small world, after all.
Arusha (which is probably where they are, if there are skyscrapers) is one of my favorite cities in the world. They should skip the safari and climb Kili: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUq_Tb-mLnY
I noticed that the driver is on the left side. In Uganda, they wheel is on the right, like UK. So I looked it up. Google said in the US they drive on the right side of the road. In the UK, they drive on the left. In Tanzania, they drive on both sides.
