At least wait until you’ve got something definite to tell him, like Sharkdad could use a spare kidney or even that everything’s going to be all hunky-dory.

Tell him. He needs to know.

Just tell him already. You don’t want him to get killed.

If you’re want to be SUPER honest as you say, then just tell him straight out!

Delray IS being super-honest – with himself.

I’ve known plenty of people in ICUs. More have eventually been released from the hospital than died. Don’t treat it like a death sentence. And, if it proves fatal, you don’t have to say, “Yeah, we’ve known for a week he was in intense care, but we didn’t think you’d be interested in the fact.” Knowledge prepares a person for whatever happens.

He is old enough to be told what happened. Then offer to take him to the hospital where he can wait to hear the news from the drs.

Looks like something caught his attention. The news maybe?

If he’s at the stage where he can see visitors, you better get Kenny there because if Shark dies without Kenny getting to say goodbye, you’re screwed for life.

He’s tough enough that only Robb could kill him.

Kenny may already know. You are not that far away.
