We found one with it’s little head bitten off by the cats’ food dish one morning. We never found the little head.

I always appreciated that my cats didn’t catch the mice, they apparently only convinced them to go live elsewhere, because we never had any signs of mice (or rats!) living with us. No scrabbling or squeaking at night, no mousie turds, no gnawed-through cereal boxes, etc. And no headless corpses or discarded tails, either, which was the best part.

I did make up my own of course, but who knows for sure except Kliban?

I always admired a cat that can play a guitar and sing for his supper…

I have this on an old t-shirt. I am so gonna wear this today.

I have sung this tune to my cats with a tune I made up-they seem to like it.

One of my very favorites!

Millions of dollars have been spent on nutritional studies of cats. It turns out there is one food with 100% of the cat’s dietary requirements – “mousies”. Unfortunately, when you steam it and put it in a can, it smells so awful humans won’t have it in the house. So, the research goes into alternatives.

Most famous of all the classics. I have a mug with this picture on it.

i didn’t know kliban’s cats were on gocomics! yay!! back in 1975 when i went to then-Leningrad for a winter semester, i took a collection of six kliban posters to leave as gifts for the russian friends i made. this was one of them, and was one of my favorites, but my other favorite i ended up taking back to the u.s. for myself: momcat. i felt momcat summed up how i felt about myself. indeed, that was my email address for many years.

I had this one on a beach towel…in the 70’s. Loved it and wore it out!

I used to have the poster, and I still have the cookie jar!
