CODE BLUE! Man in cardiac arrest after seeing his Bill. Fortunately it seems he’s had a “Change of Heart” regarding so-called “Socialist Medicine”.
Betcha more people would agree if they’ve ever seen an itemized bill - the added on costs from people without insurance. That would be the equivalent of using “paddles” to shock life into Health Care Reform.

The only people opposed to single payer are those who are already taken care of. We live in a “I got mine” society, so why would anyone expect anything else?

I went through 3 insurance companies last year. Damned drs are picky or are told what one to take. I’m tired of it allllll. Oh, yes, I whad my hours cut so that the school wouldn’t have to offer me benefits, either.

I work with a person who had the exact same “change of heart”. He was totally against “socialized medicine”. Then he lost his insurance coverage, was diagnosed with cancer and cannot get coverage from any insurance company. People who do not see this eventuality are amazing to me. It’s never a problem until it hits them. I guess it’s just like people who never wear seatbelts until after they have an accident.
