JR Williams was one of the best of all time. I started reading his work in the early sixties when they still ran “reruns” of his work. Thank you for using the Worry Wart once again.
I used to read “Out Our Way” in the funnies every day (yeah, I’m not really all that young). Sister Lillian and brother Bud Willets. Then, of course, “Our Boarding House” with the Major and Martha, and Wash Tubbs, and Terry and the Pirates, Captain Easy, etc., etc.
Now I’d better stop before I become (more) maudlin. Miss those days…
