We guys are funny creatures. We want our women to be virginal, but not really. On the other hand we want them to be “women of the world”, except we don’t. We want the best of both but they’re mutually exclusive.

The lady has standards, after all.

I’ve been married twice, argued most of a honeymoon twice. Divorced twice.

On my honeymoon moon, almost 50 years ago (I am old), we stayed at an old B and B, 30 miles from home. My bride came into the bedroom and saw me sitting beside the window, (this is true, by the way) and said, “Are you coming to bed?” I replied: “No. My mother said this would be the most beautiful night of my life … so I’m going to stay up and watch it.” Well, I was persuaded to leave the window, but she knew she had married a joker!
