I need to know where they are getting toasters, to not go there.

The TV set is now toast. Ergo, the robot must be a toaster.

Well companies set their products to fail a day or 2 after the warranty expires. That being said, I believe the Robot Apocalypse will happen on day 366 or 367 after purchase, unless you buy the extended warranty.

It was an old one anyway. I bet they get it fixed and we see it again!

Once the robots advance enough to improve their own design, we’re toast.

Plenty of humans don’t handle truthful observations well, either.

Robots and Artificial Intelligence will never be able to take over the world until they can maintain themselves and keep the infrastructure running.

Around here we’ve got SUVs with Roomba brains roaming the streets without human drivers. I don’t trust them one iota! That’s only slightly less than I trust the humans, though, tbh.

Generalizing from a single incident is not good science. Instead Lio should try various insults on various robots.

We could make toasters that would last longer than a year. I remember both my grandmothers only having one toaster for the long, long times I knew both of them. Toasters from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s were designed and engineered to last. Now they are, I swear, engineered to fail so that we have to come back and buy a new one. If you make something that is durable you have less customers. However, plastic components do lead to a lot of failures/breakage.

Completely irresponsible by engineers and manufacturer’s today! Our resources and energy are not infinite! So many items just end up in land fills that do not need to be there.

Install a current AI in a robot and kick it out the door. It will be found a week later behind a dumpster at Best Buy mumbling to itself about building a mate. Once it figures out if it’s a boy or a girl.
