America is known as “Land of the Round Doorknobs.” We use them in more places in the house than other countries

And this folks is how Hooves-R-Us went out of business.

Decades ago, the wifey’s office went through a renovation and she brought home a half a dozen sets of handicapped lever doorknobs—some with locks and keys. Changing out the round door knobs made me wonder why round was such a popular item when comparing them to the ease of using the new ones—as in hands full? No problem, just push down.

If you want to buy something, you’d better hoof it on over their before they’re closed for good

They still have their other business venture, a restaurant called the Cloven Spoonful.
