I knew a guy like that in high school, he was actually very smart. I talked to him a couple of years ago, he was now living in his deceased parents home. He said, in a very weak voice, “I’ve made some mistakes in my life.” What a waste.

That’s assuming that he ever does graduate.

Greg constantly held up Miss Phelps, the ineffective school counselor, as a character of ridicule. Playing with the name block on her desk or her wall-hung degrees.

You bloated sack of protoplasm!

There is too much teaching of worthless information because it has been organized in a school book. It is used to drill students in organizing worthless information. Important information skills are lost because they are overwhelmed by worthless information drilling and the ability to look it up on a phone. Important skills are complex and need to be practiced. There isn’t time to look up things on a phone or recognize problems while troubleshooting.

The best part of today’s strip, is the 2 different name blocks on the desk.

Everybody needs a goal.

Reminds me of Adam Sandler. A teacher once told him he would never make it as an actor.

Knute seems to me to be the type who just eventually falls into something very good and comes up very happy without effort on his part. Like a surprisingly rich wife. Or a large inheritance.
