Gunther, I haveto tell you, don’t be so dum-dum

I’m glad to see Rosa standing up for and standing by her friend. She has to make Gunther understand that her friendship does not depend on a person’s physical attributes! The dinner offer will be a nice way to gently coax him out of his shell of feeling unworthy of her because of his not being a tough guy.

Gunther is quite wrong, he didn’t knock over Leslie Knox with his backpack.He knocked him over TWICE.Even though he is doing a Woody Allen, surely making a joke in the face of doom is endearing.

Gunther is such a pessimist. He’s the least likeable character.

Way to be positive, heh.

I have grown VERY weary of this arc, Greg could we please move on. I beg you.

Rosa is making every effort to help Gunther. Gunther is locked into his rôle as wimp. The tension continues to build. I hope it will have a satisfying outcome.

Like I said, in the end, Rosa has to be the one to solve it by saying no or decking him.

Don’t be so negative, Gunth. When you are with the woman who loves you, you can’t get any better.

Some of you are being harsh. I like this storyline. What do you want? Gunther to blossom into a big stud, and sweep Rosa off her feet and ride her off into the sunset? This is typical teen angst. Just because most of you are past that point in your lives doesn’t mean it doesn’t still happen and is not entertaining to watch.

If Gunther doesn’t soon straighten out, Rosa’s gonna just kick him to the curb…and rightly so.

Leslie Knox provides the conflict that stokes the flames for Rosa & Gunther. Without some outside force providing impetus, Gunther will just sit and stew. Now with Rosa on his side, maybe Gunther will be encouraged to press on instead of just vegetating.

LOL, she probably knows Karate.

I love this strip, the drawing, the characters and the presentation of situations. I am decades past my shy, timid teenage years when I met a lot of mean kids but, believe me, someone like Gunther can outgrow his limitations. (And I really like that he is so bright.)

Gunther, wake up from your self pity. People get tired of it very quickly. I think the long range plan for this strip is that you and Luann will eventually grow up and realize you were meant for each other for a long time, but, until that time comes, WAKE UP!
