Sorry, pervertish guys – Tiff was not thrilled that Luann applied lotion on her back. Now, Quill, go apply the lotion on Luann and make Tiffany madder. Don’t be a chickensh** and decline otherwise I will be mad as he** for being denied the satisfaction of seeing Tiffany beyond pissed.

Hope Miss Blips is the summer lifeguard. They may need her to separate them. I don’t think Quill would mind watching a bit of a fight.

“Do me Quill,” just sounds so wrong in a family comic strip, LOL.

The “do me, Quill” remark may have been deliberate on Greg’s part, but was certainly inadvertent on Luann’s part. Meanwhile, Tiff wouldn’t be caught dead lathering up Luann, so her own ego keeps her from getting even. I also don’t think Tiff feels “defeated and diminished”- not her style. In fact I don’t really think she cares much for Quill, except to deflect his attentions so that he notices her more than Luann. She’s too selfish and into herself to have real feelings for anyone else. She’ll just move on to the next tactic.

Meanwhile, I’d like to get back to TJ/Ann Eiffel or Brad/Toni. That’s where the ‘real’ action is.

Luann in the last panel may be over-extending her little triumph over Tiffany. I’m guessing Quill will not “do” her with the lotion.

This has to be the first time ever that Tiffany has been told she’s a good sport. I doubt she even knows what that means.

Well, and the only reason that Tiffany swallowed her anger and dealt with it is because Quill told her not to be mad and she’s trying to impress him. If Luann told her not to be mad, that wouldn’t have made a difference.

As far as artwork goes, Tiffany wins the day.

Tiff was waay out of line to barge in on them like that. It was pure mean inconsiderate selfishness and she needs to learn a lesson. There would be no better way for her to learn it once and for all, even with her pea brain, than for Quill to now do Luann. Also a perfect opportunity for Quill to show his fondness and preference for Luann, and to prove that has, um.. got her back covered!

I know I’m totally being an armchair quarterback, but Evans could have avoided the inevitable negative reactions to this arc by the simple expedient of it being Gunther come on the scene and being enlisted to do the lotion-rubbing.
