Good theater – Better than most TV. Now – have Rosa and Gunther moved up a notch?

Had to look up Vegemite and I’m not sure if it would be good or bad. I wouldn’t mind trying some to find out though.

No glasses on the Gunth… Definitely looks happy, I am calling it up a notch. Sometimes the ladies do have to push us gents off the dime.

You can find Vegemite in some American supermarkets. I find it just a bit too salty even though I don’t object the the yeasty flavor that challenges some folks. I can’t think of anything to compare it to. It keeps just about forever and I don’t even want to tell you the age of the one jar I have in the refrigerator, the only one I ever bought.

I guess we’re not talking about Vegemite, nor even Gunther and Rosa. Quill. Quill. QUILL!

Well, I guess Gunther didn’t reject Rosa and embarrass everyone in the bowling alley….RATS!!! Maybe if Luann drops her phone, Quill won’t survive the fall! :p

That’s the biggest smile I’ve seen on Bernice in years… when she hoped that Gunther and Rosa would steer the conversation elsewhere; and when they didn’t… back to ol’ sourpuss!

Maybe if Evans would expand even more beyond his central characters, and give more face time to Delta and Bernice, we wouldn’t hate Luann’s self-absorption so much.

Have a large jar of Vegemite in my pantry. It takes some getting used to if you’re not accustomed to it… (Cue loud chorus of people from the balcony shouting “Why the hell bother?”) Hey, each to his/her own. I happen to love it. Never tried Marmite (or Parwill, for that matter), although the Brits swear it’s better.

Most people who try Vegemite eat it like they would Nutella, which is wrong, wrong, wrong. Small amounts of it are dredged through butter. As for good things to come out of Australia, right off the top of my head: Kangaroo steaks, meat pies, Anna Torv, John Noble, Tim Tams, Heath Ledger (go ndéanai Día trocaire air), Geoffrey Rush, pavlovas, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Boston buns, hamburgers with “the lot,” and on and on…

Pibgorn is oddly seductive. I’ve become addicted to it for its art, its characters and even its disjointed, many-faceted story lines.

Luann attracts for similar reasons though intellectually dumbed down – and can be annoying at times. But I still can’t avert my eyes.

Maybe after all the whining about “Where’s Luann?”, “Bring Quill back!”, Greg is rubbing our noses in the worst possible scenario of the 2 of them?

Bernice and Delta haven’t gotten the idea, yet. If they wish to shut her up about Quill, they’ll need boyfriends of their own to dominate the conversation with. If ya can’t beat ’em, join ’em

I bought my small jar of Vegemite in London in 2009, to take backpacking in Ireland.3 years later, its still half-full. I could have fed all at the Sermon on the Mount—-one loaf of bread and 1/2 jar Vegemite, tops.

Y’all had cute computations during the Christmas crunch. Thing is, NORAD has this all figured out— heard it on the radio. And NORAD is a government agency, so they wouldn’t lie to us, would they?

WytZox, I’ve wondered about that name too so just googled it. It means “Descendent of Coll”, is a boy’s name, and is Gaelic. http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/meaning_of_Quill.html

That was very inconsiderate of Bernice. It’s not like Bernice had anything that was more interesting to talk about than Luann’s Christmas present.

To Cofyjunky and MikeyJ: Did you ever notice the name of this comic? The name isn’t Bernice or Delta. The viewpoint character is Luann. Since you hate the character so much, why do you read it?

The excitement with which Luann yelled out Quill’s name first had me thinking perhaps he was off stage behind them but then I realized her phone was signaling his call.-Meanwhile our leader is working hard to market vegemite to the rest of the world by slipping in its references and making us wonder how it tastes. Of course I also wonder how barbecued kangaroo tastes, fried kangaroo, stir fried kangaroo., et cetera.- I figure being a marsupial like possums, it’s bound to be tasty — especially if you put a bit of vegemite on it.

MJ:not to go novelistic or whatever else about it but ,What’s wrong with Quill?

Well. besides the fact that he never loses that creepy grin (Maybe he and TJ are related somehow), he is also an obstacle between Luann and Gunther
