Luann, honey, you didn’t NEED to use tricks to get Quill. All you had to do was be yourself—and you were. That’s what attracts a guy, a REAL guy. Don’t try to be “clever” the way Tiffany is. You’re better than that.

I’ll contribute the history of noses…. there were some in the 1700s, 1800s, 1900s…. but not as many as the 20th or 21st century…==Some famous noses of celebrities were not as fortunate as their owners, and had to get “jobs”….strangely enough, there are “nose jobs” everywhere….==Somehow there are plenty of Doctors to help noses when they need surgery… it involves “Rhinos” and “Plaster”….. ==Is there more info about noses? Who “nose” ?…….

Yeah, she could very well now be learning to be more trusting… but it’s still a 17 year old sort of trusting… but still promising….. ==But it also seems of interest, that one reason she can feel a little more secure is because of the necklace as a reminder from him to her too… as she was freaking out before then about the “nature” of their relationship… ==And her “Ace in the hole” is “G-Man, FB Eye”… so, she seems to be getting there, but in a way, still has some “safeties” figuratively speaking, just in case… but still, at the tender age of 17, she may be experiencing her first true love…..

With this conversation between L & Q, it seems that “Camp Drama” will take a break for the time being…. My guess is that we’ll be switching back to Brad and Toni for a bit… could be something else… I realize that… but this is my guess with today’s strip….

Confidence in yourself, whatever you look like, is far more attractive than physical detail. As to the idea that you should tell someone else that they need surgery to conform to some “ideal” – that’s just ((well, I won’t say what it is, because this is a family strip)).

I have a feeling that your reply will be political, but what, prithee, do you have against Wal-Mart? I worked for them for four years until I found something better. No one held a gun to my head or ransomed my family. I shop there regularly – same story, no coercion, no lack of choices, just better retail on a level playing field. If they were really so bad, wouldn’t they be out of business?

I have thought this to be one of the best – or the best – improving strip of any I have followed.I forget how long ago I noticed that point to be coming down but liked it.Maybe Toni slamming it against the wall brought it down and beat in some sense. ;)

I really don’t get all this talk about whether or not this character is a virgin? I would assume that’s a given, since he’s a UNMARRIED man. :)

“So, I wonder what Quilly’s reaction to Luann and their feelings of trust in their relationship if/when he finds out that Luann has engaged Gunther as a ‘mole.’ Hmmm.”^This is part of what my theory was before, about the “trials and tribulations of young love”, the “rocky trials that ‘make or break’ a relationship”, especially in the young adult/teen stage….==There have been sitcoms, plays, etc. with this same plot, as well… you bring up a good point here…. it seems that it would fall right in line with that “plot device”…. as we know, time will tell…. if it were to happen like that, it would be painful for Lu, and I would definitely feel bad for her (even a comic strip character), since this is a depiction of what we as human beings go through…. ==People have been quick to say that Lu has “matured”, so perhaps if she went through this hopefully it would be with a nice, healing recovery and a “lesson learned” air of wisdom (and hopefully without the bitterness ) from all of this…
