We live on a half mile lone cul-de-sac with 30 houses on it. There are a few families with kids of trick-or-treating age. Every year my wife buys about 10 lbs of candy and we generously give it out to anyone who shows up.
The remainder goes into sandwich-sized bags and in the freezer. We usually finish this by Labor Day.
We won’t be doing it this year because of the pandemic.
