Humans are creatures of habit which is why it is important to keep a routine.
While I was looking for re-employment in the summer/fall of 2019, I still kept up with my get up in the morning and get ready for work routine even though I could sleep in and lounge around all day.
I also had to set up a “home office” to do my job search and discipline myself to a schedule of “work time” and “play time.”
Little did I know that I was preparing for the pandemic.
I am fortunate, I am reemployed and I can work from home.
I do have to admit that I do slack off on the dress code. I can go for weeks without putting on a shirt with a collar – which would be particularly bad if I were clergy.

This season I especially miss my departed wife. We were both professional-grade at massage. It does so help to pass the time in isolation.

My plans for tonight is to watch the TSO streaming event. The rest of the weekend, I will be behind my sewing machine finishing up Christmas gifts!!
