Moderately Confused by Jeff Stahler for February 06, 2021

Oh, it is so sad that this made me LOL.

Sad but true. Awake or asleep, the 4 walls and the news stay the same. But spring is only a few weeks away. The flower beds hold their eternal hope of new color. Birds still clamor at the feeders when it snows. An occasional rough shinned hawk finds crawly critters for sustenance. Squirrels still race and chase. And sunlight through the windows warms the soul. No matter the soul deadening isolation from family, Nature still offers hugs. T’was ever thus. Pray it continues.

Part of the nightmare is over, now we just have to make it thru the Covid part of it. The end of the first nightmare will make the ending of the Covid part faster.

On the morning of January 21st I managed to tell my wife a joke that I had been hanging onto for 4 years. “Dear, I had the worst nightmare last night. I dreamt that Donald Trump was president.”

And now I wake up too a true nightmare Biden

It’s been a long nightmare.. It started with a president that was nuts.. evolved into a pandemic… then a mini revolution and now a glimmer of hope.. but we are not sure if it’s still part of the nightmare or are we are waking up.

At least the National Nightmare is over

We have been a very privileged and lucky people. Life has not been good for many people around the world, while we pretended not to notice.

But you woke up. And you’re still here.
