To this day I have regrets leaving the regular math class, with the kind, absolutely gorgeous teacher, who said I was a delight to have in her class, for the advanced math class with the mean, unattractive, ill-tempered philogynist teacher.
The only teacher’s name I can recall was my kindergarten teacher (over 65 years ago). I remember going with one of my nephews to his school’s open house when he was in kindergarten (I was early 20s) and she recognized me immediately despite my nephew having a different surname. (Makes we wonder if I did something “terrible” that left a lasting impression on her memory.)

Two of my teachers (Grade 4 and Grade 12) had schools named after them … and it was well deserved!
