I have an aging fleet. when the annual repair bills exceed car payments, I will consider replacing it.
I have a 32-year-old Dodge Dakota. It is the least ecologically sound car in my fleet. It probably gets about 16 miles to the gallon and it uses a carburetor instead fuel injection. The mechanics love to work on such a relic. I drive it less than 1,500 miles a year. It is used primarily when one of the other cars is in the shop and to haul diapers from a place that donates them to our church.
