So they’ll both listen.

Maybe he wants to teach her some new tricks.

Wait until he starts sniffing her butt!

The dog actually listens to what he says, she doesn’t.

I once asked my mother’s pastor a question and he spoke to be in the same tone of voice you’d use to speak to a small child. It was all I could do to not slap him across his sanctimonious face.

Because he loves you!

Why is she complaining? More then once my wife has said, “you talk to the dog/cat nicer then you do to me”.

You should be grateful he’s talking to you nicely!

I’d really like to hear his explanation.

I’ve never understood why people use “dog talk” or “baby talk”. I have always used my regular speaking voice. No better (or worse) results than they get.

He wants to pet her too.
