I do love chocolate truffles, but for practical purposes I don’t think it’s a good idea to give out candy with peanuts or peanut butter, since you never know who has a dangerous peanut allergy.
I might be wrong, but I thought that Freia Melkesjoko was a very, very common brand of chocolate. Yeah, to an American it’s exotic and imported, and it’s tasty, but it’s not exactly fancy stuff.
Before 1492, the Swiss didn’t have chocolate, the Turks didn’t have tobacco, the Irish didn’t have potatoes, the Italians didn’t have tomato sauce, the Spanish didn’t have peanuts, and the Amerinds had to get by without starlings, rum, or smallpox.

Yes, do ignore him. Um, what is their address?

I’m sure its a gated estate and a long walk from the street. Kids don’t bother with those, takes too long.

Instead of Trick-or-Treat …
… they should do Caper-or-Amusement on All Hallows Eve.

I must live on the wrong side of the tracks. I’ve never heard of any of those.

Torrone is for Christmas, and Sperlari? A classic, but sure the Sedgwick’s family could afford better.

This must be the first time I see Auntie Nell portrayed in the comic. And she looks almost exactly as I imagined. :-D

Now I know where Sedgwick gets his eyes, are those Betty Davis eyes?

Common Jarvis, very tacky and common.

As a rule, I avoid buying candy where the packaging clearly cost more than the contents. :)

I guess they’re not going to have “cook” whip up some popcorn balls. :)

I have to agree with Sedgwick. Is quite hard to understand if Jarvis is serious or is joking.

I think I’d go with the chocolate truffles, Auntie Nell, but carefully bedded in a nest of peanut M&Ms.
Hurrah for Jarvis, sensible champion of the average trick-or-treater….

I love peanut M&Ms! Especially the dark chocolate kind. Those are a -itch to find, though.
