When I was a reporter for a small weekly, we had a photographer who wanted to test the theory of eggs cooking on the sidewalk on an extremely hot day. He took a picture, but they never reached the boiling point, never mind the frying eggs on a sidewalk stage. Don’t think the photo ever made it into the newspaper.
