This strip makes me mad. How the hell is spanking Nancy ever going to help her get good grades? Maybe she just doesn’t understand math no matter how hard she tries or struggles with spelling! Polishing her backside isn’t going to help her understand or get better at spelling. Instead of capital punishment, Fritzi should be helping her. I guess I’m sensitive to this because my dad would beat the crap out of me when I was doing my homework and I got something wrong because I was struggling so much with everything. It was like he was trying to beat the knowledge into me. I wish it had been that simple! I would have gladly endured it and I’d be a damn genius now!
