I see a sweet fortune in Nancy’s future, but she has to watch out. Some dork will probably say rude things about her weight and then most likely follow it up with an unrelated, badly-formatted cooking recipe that was stolen from a Google search.
A small complaint I’ve made before: the overlapping balloons in panel 3 make understanding the strip more difficult than it needs to be. Plenty of room to put the teacher’s balloon tail above Nancy’s balloon. (And as I’ve also said before — good gag.)

Now I’m considering a career as a famous reader (and commenter) of comic strips.

Do what you love, never work a day in your life, etc.

Sounds like someone is having second thoughts about having wanted to become an educator.

…" Cake-Eater "! Roaring Twenties flapper/sheik reference, from Nancy’s roots! Wait for the John Held Jr.-style flashback sequence!

It’s the teacher from Jaimes’s early period! Also, Jaimes has been doing this long enough to have an early period!

Seems Nancy’s classes are now small, compared to the often pictured 30-45 kids seated in class in Nancy Classics !!
