Periquita is just plain incorrect today. Over there she says it’s because she respects the no headphones policy, which she clearly wouldn’t be respecting, even in letter. The joke is broken.

I don’t think Nancy’s scheme is going to work, but I am sure that she will come up with a different one soon.

The first two panels are quite clever. They could have been one large panel as the third panel is but they are split into two to show the passage of time between the opening statement and the reply.

I don’t think that’s gonna work, Nancy. By wearing the headphones you are drawing attention to yourself, thus, the need not to be noticed is moot.

In my classroom, I have a No ’phones policy to cover all the tele, head, and ear varieties.

You should do well in detention and on the test based upon that material I have been speaking of today.
