Yep! Norm didn’t realize that he was gonna have to dip into his 401k just to go to the movies.

And people complain about the cost of streaming services!

With the prices today, you’re better off smuggling in your own candy, popcorn and cans of pop!

Hey, it costs an awful lot to keep the employees in paper hats, bow ties and aprons.

One of our favorite deli-style restaurants now has a tip screen popup when you pay. Every employee has been quick to point out the red X button to exit that screen. I wonder if they’re embarrassed by it or if I just look that cheap.

No, no, no, no and NOPE!!!!

Unfortunately movie theaters don’t earn their money by showing movies but by selling food.

C’mon Norm, give them 50, make it a round number!

We consider a small popcorn (which isn’t really small) and a couple cups for water a treat when we go to the movies.

We tend to go to the Alamo branded theaters around here, they bring your food & refills directly to your seat and have unlimited popcorn for $10. With real butter. Hard to beat.

Consider it an advance payment for refilling your bottomless cup of soda and bottomless bucket of popcorn.

Last time I was in a movie theater was when I took my son to see the “Over the Hedge” movie when he was a kid back in 2006.

Wow!! No such thing as a cheap date anymore. Remember drive inn movie theater, 3 bucks a carload and bring your own munchies. This next generation is going to miss out on a bunch of great times.
