One year, while I was working for the State Voc Rehab, the Powers that Be decided that all prostheses we provided for our clients were going to a few pre-chosen vendors, the low bidders. We counselors groaned, because we knew from experience that some vendors were accomplished, and some quite odious. Well, you should have seen the Quasimodo-like contraptions these new vendors came up with. The next fiscal year, the State went back to letting us choose the vendors again.

How odd — a polar bear without penguins!

It’s all because he followed the directions too well…..Maps always show “North” as straight up….and that was where he pointed it….He forgot every Mothers first rule “Be careful where you point that thing!”
