This reminded me so much of that Gary Larson’s Far Side TV special that showed insects on a plane, and the stewardess had lost her head and was staggering around with a tray of drinks. Can’t find it on YouTube.
Ohhh! I just read about this in a book about animals and insects. They only do that in captivity, as its to stressful. In the wild they don’t resort to eating the male’s heads! Hint: don’t study caged animals and/or insects to get their true behaviour patterns!
