Nothing random about the way this Admin obeys laws…….like any administration, or indeed any local police force, it enforces the laws it feels need to be enforced.I’m just glad we have a Democrat in the White House and not a sociopath and/or a crazy from the GOP……….

My favorite street sign appeared on Fifth Avenue years a few years ago in front of the New York Public Library. It read, DON’T EVEN THINK OF PARKING HERE. New Yorkers are blunt.

I have been reading Non Sequitur for what seems decades now. In all that time, I have never, ever seen Wiley do anything even remotely bigoted. I have, however, seen people read all kinds of things into his work (projecting their own mental states, it would seem) and taking him to task for things that clearly occur only in their own minds. Frequently. Relentlessly.

You can be sure that a Wiley comic will bring out the totally non sequitur comments.Mr. Obama may indeed be an idiot (I think the jury is still out on that), but I’m fairly certain that he too was an honor student as a child.

When accusing someone of something as heinous as bigotry, it’s always a good idea to follow it with at least ONE example to back up such an allegation. So, can you provide us with such and example?

If anyone still believes that canard, he or she might want to read Freethinkers by Susan Jacoby, which details the history of the abolitionist, women’s suffrage, and civil rights movements, and shows how non-religious people and those who may have been religious, but were not part of the mainstream of christianity at the time (and who were considered as heretics and apostates by the christians of that time, much as they would be today by ColoradoRight) led all three movements.In any case, it’s just silly to deny that the bible (and the koran) supports slavery.
