Problem is that none of the idiots think they’re one of them.

There was a time when you had to be smart or important to be on TV news. Then cable came along.And now you only have to be loud or stupid. (There are still smart people out there, but they’re greatly outnumbered.)

There are unspoken assumptions from those who find the electioneering “yapping” so disagreeable that they are somehow more intelligent and moral than the candidates and those doing the “yapping.” From my own personal observations, those are assumptions that are not supportable.

Prince’s death actually gave us a day’s respite from all the campaign news.

Did you ever think that the reason we have so many idiots running for office might be because so many people really are not engaged in the process and our only source of information is a media owned by the wealthy that gleefully focuses on what will make great headlines and profits rather than actually news and information?

The problem with Idiots and stupid people is they keep multiplying faster than we can produce smart ones

What scares me is that I am very well aware of how stupid I am… and yet I have had numerous people tell me that I am very intelligent. Yikes!
