I’d like me some of that coffee that Flo is serving. Has about as much “kick” as good Kentucky moonshine fresh out of the still

Found this definition of anoesis: Anoesis is derived from the Greek word noesis meaning reason or intellect and the prefix a- meaning not. Thus it means, no reason.

That’s been the name of his boat for a couple of years now…if I remember correctly (but I may very well be wrong, so PLEASE don’t crucify me!), it was voted on by the readers.

fI you’ve never been on a Fall Tour in New England, you are missing something incredible.

Growing up there, we’d pile into the car, on a Sunday, after church, and drive around looking at the Fall Foliage.

Even as kids, we didn’t mind, because the trip always included a stop at a cider mill to purchase jugs of fresh apple cider.

The Good Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, I hope to take my Ecuatoriana bride up there, next year, to experience all the colors and the beauty of New England in the Fall. Not to mention sampling some cider.

Of course Alaska has trees. But it depends on where you are and whether the moose and bears have knocked them all down in your area. What surprised me on my first trip there this past summer was that there were crape myrtles blooming everywhere, and I mean, everywhere. Somehow purple seemed to be THE color. And the huge dandelion flowers waved happily around in the wind at well above my knees. Glorious.
