I don’t think there will be very many “junk food hikers”.

I think it’s nice the bears have a choice. But where is the path for the Steak and Potatoes hikers?

Are Jeff Mallet and Wiley teaming up for a storyline this week? Yesterday Jeff had a bit about Overstuffed junk-food fed humans being the pre-hibernation food for bears.

All the wrappers and junk I’ve found along trails and campsites I found over the years, no problem getting a pack of junk food bloaters. Not all hikers are granola freaks.

The one you take will make all the difference.

Bears need fatty food to build up enough fat to survive the winter. They should all be around the right path. Besides, easier to catch, less energy expenditure…

Eat well, excercise regularly, die anyway.

What is so neat is that the Wiley Bears look like they are SO MUCH FUN, that being taken down by several of them might not be too bad of a way to go!

Either way, the Wiley Bears will be having a nice snack.

Wiley bears are the best bears.

At least all the hikers fit in the “free range” category.

i hope the bidding for the sunday comic is going really well!

I’ll take the clear 3rd path that avoids all the bears – the unlabeled path of moderation in all things. I’ll practice the Dao of Duh!

Either road is death. So now Wiley Bears “hibernate”? Real bears don’t hibernate. All kinds of bears technically don’t hibernate. They enter into a phase called torpor which is like a deep slumber but they can awaken and often do from their slumber if they are disturbed.
