Good for Charlie! Taking charge and no longer being the victim. I like it!

The kid is just looking for a little respect. Will he succeed? I think not.

Goth, not transgender. But you can see it however you want.

Very funny. We mentioned the football thing, I wonder if he would get his 5 cents worth at Lucy’s “office”.

This reminds me of an episode of “Family Guy” with a cutaway of a Peanuts reunion. We see adult versions of Lucy, Linus, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, etc., partying down, with a shrine to Snoopy (he’s a dog so he had a shorter lifespan) off to one side. Charlie Brown is last to arrive, accompanied by his sleazy-looking girlfriend, a much-altered appearance similar to this one and an attitude to match, railing and spitting insults at everyone. I actually found it believable that he’d grow up to be bitter and cynical. Sure, there were all those times we’d see him face one failure or setback after another and then he’d get up and try, try again. But it’s not hard to imagine that all the crap he had to take as a kid would have a cumulative effect, to the point where he’d say the hell with it, life sucks and why should I even try to be “good ol’ Charlie Brown” anymore.
