    Needed to look it up, I was really wondering what religion had to do with a patch of beard. Soul as in music! Got it! (Jazz flute players who disliked the feel of the flute mouthpiece on a freshly shaven lower lip often sported the look (wikipedia)). In French we call it a fly, no wonder I didn’t get it. :)

    It’s listed in the first chapter of “Dorkiness for Dummies” – the second chapter is for ear gages, the third is on body piercing, the fourth is on tattoos, and the fifth is dressing for unemployment.
