But does RJ have to actually read the book after he has—as demanded—agreed to read it?

One of my favourite books. I’ve read it several times. If you’ve seen any of the movies you know about 5% of the story.

The world’s longest novel is In Search of Lost Time (about 1.3 million words). I haven’t read it, but what I found online indicates that the concept of redemption occurs in it. Does anyone know if it contains the word “redeem”? If it does, I’d like to see RJ try to read it. In fact, I’d like to see anybody read it.

Time for an Audio Book RJ ;-)

That book relates to us in so many ways.

Verne is getting revenge for all those falling cows.

Come to think of it, a falling cow or two might get RJ out of his little problem. Or they could borrow Rat, and his baseball bat, from Pastis.

Never read it. My high school English teacher was obsessed with C. Dickens.

I saw a movie adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo and was left so unsatisfied that I went and bought the 1000+-page unabridged edition of the book…much better story…

I would rather read War and Peace, in it’s original language!

Considering R.J.‘s attention span, he’s gonna need some serious self-discipline to read “Les Miserables”. Though he should be thankful that it wasn’t “War and Peace”.

It just dawned on me! Jean Valjean is actually an amalgamation of RJ, Verne and Hammy! wow…

I’ve never read it. Nor have I read Vanity Fair.

The really bad news, RJ? That’s just the first volume.

Now they are just being mean.
