If I recall in my genealogy, I have a grandaunt like that.

And you’ll never guess about her sister April.

Ah, calendars, just another tool to control our behavior. But I don’t let it stop me. Today I decided to go to my favorite seafood restaurant for raw oysters. Before I left the house I took a magic marker to my calendar. As far as I’m concerned, this is Aurgust.

Yeah, it’s a real coincidence that June was born in June and her birthday is in June.

My daughter is named April….she was born in April, my husband and I were born in April and we were married in April and have parents and cousins born in April. What a coincidence!

Rather jejune

One time when my husband and I were visiting his family in SC, we wen to a fast-food chicken place. Our counter server’s name was – no kidding – April May. I don’t know what her last name was.

“She was born in June and her birthday is in June”, what a strange coincidence.

We had two girls in our neighborhood named Autumn and Summer. Can you guess when they were born? And now I have a friend named June, but her birthday in is August.

At one place of business, one of the clerks was named June Forth. I kept resisting the temptation to ask if she had sisters named April and May.

February won’t find me washing the car in the driveway, but April may.

Let’s do the February March.

And her dad became a father in June. Imagine that!

Augustine (born in August) and her husband Julius (July) had 3 daughters April (April), May (May) and Elizabeth ( January)!

and her sister May was born in May
