I had always thought of Snoopy as the older brother type towards Woodstock.

That was so cute.

Here in S. Europe Mother’s Day was last Sunday.

For Mom: who fell asleep in the Lord eight years ago.

This is the 4th Mother’s Day that I won’t be celebrating in person with my mom. “Parted from me, yet never parted. We meet again at the appointed place and time.”

Snoopy the Surrogate?

Matthew 22:35-40 says we should all be mother-like; for the 2nd greatest commandment is, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. " Happy Mother’s day moms.

I remember seeing this when I was seven and crying.

Think of it as a high honor Snoopy!

Snoopy is all the family that Woodstock has. He’s father, mother, brother and sister.

Poor Woodstock!

A good reminder to hug your mom or someone who loves you almost as much as she did.

Usually snoopy goes to the Daisy Hill puppy farm.

Are those flowers or balloons? Balloon flowers? Very cute!

Snoopy is family to Woodstock.

Having fought 200 pound cat for Woodstock, Snoopy can always pitch in the mother’s role!

I lost my mom at age 90 two years ago and made it through the day until I read this strip before the tears came. I miss Mom so!

You know, I don’t think Woodstock’s even mentioned his dad. Does he know he has one?
