Linus was a mystic on this strip. He probably believed that snakes descended from dragons after it lost its wings and feet.

With Linus it’s this snake and that snake. What, was he watching “snake week” back in the ‘60s, ’70s, and ’80s. Today he’d probably be warning about sharks.

“Night Snakes” are very pretty and they live in my area, among other places. I’ve never seen one in my yard but the pictures are very nice. I’m going to start looking for one.

I feel the entire cast are larger than side-blotched lizards and are in no critical danger from a night snake.
