If you make it to Beagle Scout, Snoopy. Make sure they don’t pin the badge on you like they did to Captain Wilton Parmenter on F Troop.

In panel 3 he appears to be working on something. It’s a good thing he’s outside where the world is his toilet!

At least in Snoopy’s day, the ‘Scouts’ weren’t the ‘woke scouts’ of today .. no longer called ‘Boy Scouts’, they are now just referred to as ‘Scouts’. The final blow will be when the Girl Scouts/Brownies will be merged into ‘Scouts of America’. FWIW, I was in BSA when I was a kid, and made it to Star rank (2 ranks below Eagle).

You would think that Snoopy could have earned merit badges for all his different identities (World Famous Attorney, Joe Cool, World War 1 flying ace, etc…)

You can do it! Maybe. Probably not.

Don’t worry. He’ll be a Tenderpaw for another 50 years.

Does he need to do it by age 18 in human years or dog years?

I didn’t get very far in Scouting. I just want to have fun not more school type stuff. I didn’t last long as all the fun stuff was against the rules, sooo many rules…

Nice work, Schulz. Tenderpaw, Beagle Scout. Just thought it was cute yesterday, but today I’m seeing the thought you put into this. Did that start with Eagle and from there you figured you’d use the term for a dog’s foot?

Wonder of Charles Schulz was a Boy Scout in his youth. I know Dr. Seuss was.
