By arithematics, snoopy’s chances to catch a fish is twice now.

Originally from July 20, 1975 – The same day the last original run Pogo comic strip ran only in a handful of newspapers that was still carrying the Walt Kelly legacy strip at the time.

Just two buddies fishing together.

Maybe this is why the title panel of a Sunday strip is also known as a “splash” panel…?

For some reason, I like this particular strip a lot more in colour than the B&W counterpart, even though they’re just flat colours. Small changes can make a big difference in art.

Tomorrow, Woodstock will be back with a friend, whom the following day will be back with another friend, etc. By the end of the week, Snoopy won’t be able to fish in his favorite fishing hole. Story of my life: Teach somebody to fish and by the end of the week, you won’t be able to get to your favorite spot. So, let ’em hire a guide.
