She wouldn’t have a chicken; she would have been asleep.

She just needs to go to bed with the chickens.

I’ve put chickens to sleep many times petting them before showing to a class.

I love it when Marcie surprises Patty. The relationship between these two is one of my favorite elements of this strip.

Chickens eat eggs?

Wrong. Some people may experience more sleep difficulties if they have eggs before bed (WWW so it must be true).

Only fish go to school. P.P. would have scrambled eggs for sure.

How about those egg prices.

I’d prefer fish, you don’t get fish falling asleep in school.

Umm… Last time I’ve checked, chickens don’t go to schools.

It may be a lack of caffeine most grade school breakfasts do not have coffee.

Eggs are a good source of protein. It’s actually not bad advice.

Peppermint Patty’s dad might not be able to afford them now.

When I was a kid I got a leather jacket for Christmas and asked my Dad if it leaked. He said, “I’ve never seen a leaky cow.”

Back when people could afford eggs

Right up there with the one about rabbits never needing eyeglasses.

It’s funny because it’s true!

There’s method in Marcie’s madness. Patty will now stay awake trying to work out the ‘joke’.

Chickens will eat other chickens.

Getting enough sleep works better ! ;-)
